Earlier, the mortal remains of BSF jawan Balveer Chand was taken to Raja Ka Talab, sub-tehsil of Kangra district at around 2.30 in the morning.
The mortal remains of BSF jawan Balveer Chand were taken from sub-tehsil Raja Ka Talab outside the Nerna Gram Panchayat building amid full security. The BSF vehicle carrying the mortal remains was parked at a distance of about one kilometer from the house of jawan Balveer Chand.
After which, as soon as the mortal remains were taken to his home in Sukhaar in a BSF vehicle at 10 am on Tuesday, there was an atmosphere of screaming and shouting by people everywhere.
Meanwhile, in the entire Sukhar area, the entire Sukhar area became devotional with all the patriotic slogans of Balveer Chand Ji Amar Rahe, Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram, with teary eyes.
On the other hand, his wife Sudesh Kumari had fainted after seeing the mortal remains of Himachal BSF jawan Balveer Chand wrapped in the Indian tricolor for the last time.
Thousands of people from entire Raja Ka Talab, Nerna Gram Panchayat, Sukhar area registered their last presence with tearful eyes in the last journey of Himachal BSF jawan Balveer Chand.
Last tribute and salute was paid to BSF jawan Balveer Chand by the team led by ASI Ashwini Kumar of Battalion 24 at Sukhar crematorium.
On the occasion of the last farewell, Vishal Singh, the elder son of BSF jawan Balveer Chand, cremated his father’s mortal remains.
During the last funeral pyre of Himachal BSF jawan Balveer Chand, Raja Ka Talab local MLA Bhavani Singh Pathania, SDM Fatehpur Vishrut Bharti, SHO Noorpur Surendra Dhiman, outpost in-charge Raihan Kuldeep Thakur, SI Joginder Lal of 51 battalion Jammu, Inspector Sushil Kumar Pandey, retired.
Inspector IG Ramesh Singh, Deputy Commandant Ramesh Mandiyal, Assistant Commandant Jarnail Singh Dadwal, Inspector Rameshwar Singh Pathania, Inspector Mohinder Singh, Inspector Kushal Pathania and all the distinguished citizens participated in the funeral pyre of BSF jawan Balveer Chand and paid their respects.
