All the branches of KCC Bank, which has been actively incurring losses for the last five years in five districts of Himachal Pradesh, are going to be closed. This important decision has been taken in the 77th general session of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank on Thursday at Badu in Hamirpur district. Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Chairman, KCC Bank, presided over the 77th General Meeting of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank. In the 77th general convention of KCC Bank, a resolution was also passed in the convention regarding the entire work of KCC Bank for one year. KCC Bank currently has two hundred and seventeen branches operating in five districts of Himachal Pradesh. Out of all the two hundred and seventeen branches of KCC Bank, around forty branches are running in loss. A detailed survey of all the forty loss making branches of KCC Bank is going to be conducted. All important reasons for losses will also be ascertained during the detailed survey of KCC Bank. Due to continuous losses for five years, an important decision will be taken to close all the forty branches or merge them with other branches.

In the 77th General Session of KCC Bank, it has been decided to open new branches of KCC Bank in five districts. In the convention, KCC Bank has received proposals for opening twenty-five new branches of KCC Bank, and approval has also been given to open all the twenty-five new branches.

In fact, a major part of the deposits of KCC Bank worth Rs. 18,000 crore are from cooperative societies. Rs 4500 crore of cooperative societies have been deposited in KCC Bank. Now the decision regarding the entire matter of cooperative societies will be taken in the meeting of the Board of Directors.
