Israel carried out an airstrike on Gazapatti late on Thursday night. Israel’s Defense Force has claimed to have destroyed two tunnels and two weapons factories in the airstrikes. The first tunnel is located in the northern Gaza city of Beit Hanun and the second near the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis. Israel has named this operation as ‘The Strong Hand’. Israel took this action in response to the rocket attack on Israel from Lebanon.

In the attack from southern Lebanon, more than 34 rockets were fired towards Israel. Two people were injured in the attack and several buildings, banks and vehicles were damaged. Israel held the Palestinian group Hamas responsible for the attack. At the same time, Palestinian militants also fired 25 rockets from Gazapatti on Israel during this period. In response to all this, Israel has carried out airstrikes on Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a meeting with the Security Cabinet after the rocket attack on Israel. In this he had said that we will attack the enemy and he will have to pay the price for every attack. He said that despite political differences, the whole of Israel would remain united in the face of external threats.
