HPCA has started making the list of guests for the Test match between India and England to be held from March at the International Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala. HPCA will invite Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama along with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the fifth Test match to be played from March 7 to 11.
HPCA representatives will visit the Dalai Lama at his residence to extend the invitation.
Apart from this, HPCA officials in Shimla will call the Chief Minister and the Governor with a letter to come to the match.
HPCA is preparing a list of guests to be invited during the test. After the complete list is ready, invitation letters will be given to the guests.
HPCA will try to invite religious leader Dalai Lama at the beginning of the match so that he can also meet the players.
Earlier, during the IPL matches in Dharamshala, Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama had reached the stadium and met the players before the match and encouraged them.
At the same time, whenever any international matches are organized in Dharamshala, the players go to meet religious leader Dalai Lama at his residence.
HPCA Secretary Avneesh Parmar said that HPCA will invite the Dalai Lama, Governor, Chief Minister and Union Minister and other guests for the India-England Test match.
