Himachal’s son Shubham Dhiman attained martyrdom, service to the nation was inherited
Dharamshala, August 4: News has come of 26-year-old son Shubham Dhiman of Jawali subdivision of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh being martyred in Leh. Unmarried Shubham Dhiman’s vehicle met with an accident during duty. Shubham, who belongs to Dhol Panchayat, was serving in Leh.
Martyr Shubham inherited service to the nation. His father had also retired from the Indian Army. His father Rumal Singh had passed away about one and a half years ago. The family’s background was associated with service to the nation. According to family information, Shubham had returned to duty after leave about one and a half months ago. Uncle Satish Dhiman is posted as Captain in the Army, while the other uncle Joginder Dhiman had retired from the post of Subedar-Major some time ago.
According to media reports, last night the army informed the family about Shubham’s martyrdom. There is a wave of mourning over Shubham’s martyrdom in the entire area including Durana village. Condolences are being expressed over the martyrdom of a brave soldier at a young age.
