A heat wave is expected to continue in isolated areas of the mid and low hills, with yellow alerts issued for several districts. While lower regions like Kangra, Hamirpur, and Una remain dry, mid-hills such as Shimla and Solan may see isolated rain. Higher areas like Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti have had some rain and even snow. Temperatures are notably high, with Neri recording 46.1°C. The Indian Meteorological Department reports varying rainfall across the state, with Bharmaur receiving the highest. Temperatures were very high, with Keylong being the coolest at 3.4°C, while Neri recorded a scorching 46.1°C. According to the Indian Meteorological Department and the Ministry of Earth Science, there was no significant snowfall in Himachal Pradesh today. However, various parts of the state did receive rainfall. Bharmaur recorded the highest rainfall at 7mm, while Bhuntar AERO had the lowest at 0.4mm. Other areas also experienced rainfall, including Dhaulakaun with 6.5mm, PTO Gondola with 4.6mm, Keylong with 4.0mm, Sangraha with 2.0mm, Dalhousie AWS with 1.0mm, Mashobra AWS with 0.5mm, Sainj AWS with 0.5mm, and Shimla with 0.4mm. Himachal Pradesh weather continues to show varying conditions across the state.

In Himachal Pradesh, Keylong is the coolest spot with a temperature of 15.2°C and a high chance of rain. Kufri is warmer at 21.3°C with a low chance of rain. Shimla enjoys a pleasant 27.4°C with a moderate chance of rain. Chamba and Sundernagar are warmer, at 38.2°C and 38°C respectively, both with a moderate chance of rain. Kangra is the hottest at 38.7°C, with minimal chances of rain.
The District Disaster Management Authority of Lahaul & Spiti has issued a travel advisory for the NH-03 Manali-Leh Highway, effective from June 2, 2024. The highway is open for traffic, but movement will be regulated from Darcha to Sarchu on alternate days. From 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, vehicles such as 4x4s, 4x2s, two-wheelers, and heavy trucks can travel from Darcha towards Sarchu. The following day, on June 3, 2024, travel is permitted from Sarchu to Darcha only. Weather and road conditions will influence vehicle movement, and caution is advised due to potential avalanches and rockfalls. Tourists must avoid unnecessary stops between Darcha and Sarchu and travel at their own risk. In case of snowfall, move to safe places immediately.
