The operation of HRTC buses is being badly affected due to closure of all roads following the latest snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. Bus services on 376 routes of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) have been badly affected across Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Due to closure of roads on various routes of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation, 84 buses of HRTC are stuck due to heavy snowfall on various routes.

For the convenience of passengers, HRTC is currently operating buses through alternative routes.

Due to heavy slippage on the roads of various routes of HRTC, an important decision has been taken by the HRTC Board Management to suspend night bus services on many routes.

HRTC bus services are being affected the most in Shimla, Kullu, Chamba, Mandi and Lahaul-Spiti districts after heavy snowfall.

A relatively small number of HRTC bus services are being affected in Sirmaur, Solan, Hamirpur, Kangra and Una districts of Himachal Pradesh.

Due to slippery roads after heavy snowfall, HRTC Corporation Management has issued guidelines to all HRTC drivers and conductors to take special precautions while operating HRTC buses.

Special advisory has been issued by HRTC Board Management for all drivers –

Under the special advisory of HRTC Board Management, guidelines have been issued to avoid taking any kind of risk during heavy snowfall, keeping in mind the safety of all passengers.

HRTC Board Management has issued instructions to park HRTC buses at safe places, not to take HRTC buses on unpaved land, to operate HRTC buses around small drains and rivers as per the situation, to take HRTC buses on the routes only when it is safe. , Mandatory checking of windscreen, wipers, fog lights before plying on HRTC bus routes, using correct lights during fog, keeping the speed of HRTC buses low, parking HRTC buses at safe places, parking HRTC buses. Special guidelines regarding consumption of gutka have been issued to all HRTC bus drivers.

Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation management has also made a special request to all the passengers not to force the drivers and operators to take HRTC buses forward if the road conditions are not good.

One person died in Kasol of Kullu district due to severe cold –

One person has died in Kasol of Parvati Valley in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It is being told by the local people of Kasol that due to severe cold one person has died in Kasol.

Locals of Kasol told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the man was often seen roaming in Kasol market.

When someone saw him lying dead in Kasol market early on Thursday morning, Kullu District Police was informed. According to Kullu District Police, the deceased person is being identified.
