To strengthen the economy of the farmers, the Central Government has launched the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Through this scheme, an amount of six thousand rupees is being given annually in three installments to the farmers for agricultural works.

In the country’s aspirational district Chamba, work is being done at a fast pace to connect the farmers with this scheme. So far in the district, the target of connecting about ninety-eight percent of the farmers with this scheme has been accomplished, but still many farmers are deprived of this scheme due to not being able to get e-KYC done.

Additional District Magistrate Amit Mehra said that special emphasis is being laid on getting e-KYC done for the farmers in the district, as of today e-KYC has been done for 51,469 farmers in Chamba district.

He told that till now the bank accounts of five thousand eight hundred and nineteen farmers have not been linked with Aadhaar. Amit Mehra said that to take advantage of this important scheme, farmers should complete their e-KYC on time.

Because under this scheme, a lump sum amount is given to the farmer brothers by the government, then a land mapping process was started in it. In which the performance of Chamba is excellent. We have achieved ninety-seventh point eight nine percent in that .

But there are two points in this on which our special attention has also been given and it was expected that it will be 100 percent, but some people have not shown interest in it and I would also like to request through you to get it done as soon as possible.
Our revenue agencies, field agencies, are setting up camps at many places so that people can get comfortable.
