Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu observed the grand beating the retreat ceremony at the historic Wagah Border in Amritsar, Punjab. The beating the retreat ceremony is organized every day at the Wagah Border by the Indian Border Security Force and the Security Forces of Pakistan. Enjoyed the ceremony with people coming from different parts. He distributed sweets to the soldiers participating in the beating the retreat ceremony and praised their bravery and dedication. The Chief Minister also visited zero point at Attari Wagah Border.
He said that the Indian Army and para forces have kept the integrity and sovereignty of the country intact by sacrificing their lives every time when necessary.
