Himachal News : Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that a high-level committee will be constituted to monitor the new roads to be constructed in the state.
During a meeting held in Shimla, he told that it will be made mandatory to make drainage and cross drainage in these roads.
He said that due to lack of drainage and cross drainage, the roads get damaged. The Chief Minister said that the roads which do not have drainage facility at the time of construction, will not be passed.
During the meeting, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reviewed the damages caused by heavy rains in the state and also gave necessary guidelines to the officials.
The Chief Minister said that in Kullu district, scientific management will be ensured to prevent soil erosion by water on the river banks.
