Shimla – Now owners of all two storey buildings in twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh can easily increase the height of the attic. Town and Country Planning (TCP) has sent the complete report file to the Himachal Pradesh government regarding increasing the height of the attic of the owners of two-storey buildings.

In Himachal Pradesh, if new Two Storey buildings are to be constructed on any new plot, then the Himachal Pradesh Government has now given permission to the Two Storey building owners to increase the height of the attic for all the newly constructed Two Storey plots building.

On the other hand, all the building owners across Himachal Pradesh who have constructed three and more than three storey buildings have not yet been given approval by the Himachal Pradesh Government to increase the height of the attic.

Owners of two storey buildings in all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh will be able to increase the height of the attic –

Government of Himachal Pradesh has issued a notice to the landlords of all two storey buildings falling within the limits of Town and Country Planning (TCP) area and all Municipal Corporations of Himachal Pradesh to increase the height of the roof (attic) of all two storey buildings in Himachal Pradesh.

Besides, the Himachal Pradesh Government has also given permission to all the plot owners for construction of newly constructed buildings on any plot and permission to increase the height of the attic.

On the other hand, the Himachal Pradesh government has currently not given permission to all the building owners of Himachal Pradesh whose buildings have three or more than three storeys to increase the height of the attic.

Also, Town and Country Planning (TCP) has sent the complete report file to the Government of Himachal Pradesh regarding the construction work and increasing the height of the attic of all two-storey, three-storey and above buildings in Himachal Pradesh.

Also, earlier, for the construction work of buildings in twelve districts of entire Himachal, the height of attic was provided to all the building owners by Himachal Pradesh Government as 2.75 meters.

Also, the Himachal Pradesh government did not provide permission for the construction of residential buildings to all the building owners of Himachal Pradesh.

But now the Himachal Pradesh government has given permission to increase the height of the attic of the roofs of newly constructed houses in the entire Himachal Pradesh to 3.05 meters.

Now in Himachal Pradesh, all the building owners have been given permission to increase the height of the attic of all the buildings and to construct residential buildings under the complete rules of Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules 2014.

Due to the devastating rains, landslides and natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh government had earlier stopped the construction work of all buildings with immediate effect.

But after the disaster relief work, Himachal Pradesh government has again issued notification of all the guidelines to start the construction work of all the buildings.

Under all the new rules made by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, all the building owners who have completed the construction work of two storey buildings, and if they want to increase the height of the attic of the roof as per the rules of the Himachal Pradesh Government, then they should By applying to the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning (TCP) office and the offices of all the municipal corporations to amend the map of the buildings, they can complete the legal process and start the work of increasing the height of the attic of their respective two-storey buildings.

Permission to increase the height of the attic has been granted only after the revised maps were received from the Town and Country Planning (TCP) office and the Municipal Corporation, the owners of all two-storey buildings.

Also, the Himachal Pradesh Government has taken the most important decision of providing electricity and water connections under the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules 2014 to increase the height of the attic of all two-storey buildings.

Also, earlier in Himachal Pradesh, all the building owners were not given permission to sell the attic of their buildings.

But now the Himachal Pradesh government has given permission to the owners of all two, three and more storey buildings to sell the attic height of the buildings.

It may be noted that the owners of all the buildings in Himachal Pradesh have been actively demanding for the last few months in the Shimla Secretariat of Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhu to increase the height of the attic for the two-storey buildings of Himachal Pradesh and for residential construction of all the buildings.

Also, in the elections of Himachal Pradesh State Assembly, the leaders of the ruling Congress Party had given assurance to the people of Himachal Pradesh to carry out residential construction work and to increase the height of the attic of the buildings in Himachal Pradesh.
