Himachal News : So far, twenty-six percent more rainfall than normal has been recorded in Himachal Pradesh during the monsoon season this year. Scientist Sandeep Kumar of Meteorological Center Shimla said that this time the state has received good monsoon rains.
However, during this period, the state also faced natural disasters due to excessive rainfall on some occasions. He said that the monsoon has now become weak in the state and it is likely to remain weak till September 13. After this, rain related activities may increase. .
He said – If we talk about the next five to six days, there is no such major activity. There is a possibility of light rain in only one or two places. So there is no major activity till later. Then there is no rainfall activity on 13th. And this will be distribution wise and due to this, which means districts like entire Shimla and Solan in Himachal Pradesh, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall here.
Meanwhile, today it is cloudy at most places in the state. Light rain occurred in Chamba, Hamirpur and Nahan today, while it is cloudy at some places. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light rain at some places in the state. Due to weak reading of monsoon and lack of rain related activities for the past few days, people in the plain areas of the state are facing humid heat.
