In Kaza and Tabo, SADA development fee will be collected from vehicles coming from Himachal Pradesh as well as various states of India. Collection of SADA development fee will be started from January of the new year 2024. A barrier will also be installed at Samdo to collect SADA development fee by the Special Area Development Authority (SADA). The movement of tourists from outside states is continuously increasing in Kaza and Tabo. Due to increase in the movement of tourists from outside states, an important decision has been taken to collect SADA development fee due to financial crunch with the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) for solid waste management and sewerage management in Kaza and Tabo.

For the benefit of the public, an important decision has been taken to start collection of SADA development fee by Special Area Development Authority (SADA) from the new year. According to the decision taken in the meeting, an important decision has also been taken to provide exemption in SADA development fee to all private vehicles of RLA Spiti. Along with this, an important decision has been taken that all private and local residents registered in Spiti RLA will not be charged any SADA development fee for registering their vehicle in any other RLA in India.

SADA will not collect SADA development fee on every trip from taxi drivers registered in RLA Spiti.

Along with this, an annual SADA development fee of Rs 2500 has been fixed by SADA for big vehicles like Maxi and Traveler and an annual SADA development fee of Rs 1500 has been fixed by SADA for all small vehicles.

Development fees will be imposed by SADA on vehicles from outside states –

An important decision has been taken to collect SADA development fees from vehicles from outside states from January 1, 20024. Now SADA development fee will be collected from vehicles from every outside state entering Spiti. An important decision has been taken to provide exemption in SADA development fee to vehicles of Lahaul-Spiti district. Taxi drivers of Lahaul-Spiti district will also have to pay SADA development fee. An important decision to recover SADA development fee has been taken in the meeting of Special Area Development Authority (SADA) on 24th November.

Know how much will be the SADA development fee on which vehicle –

1) The SADA development fee on all two-wheelers will be Rs 100.

2) The SADA development fee on all cars will be Rs 200.

3) The SADA development fee on all XUV-pickup vehicles will be Rs 300.

4) Also, the SADA development fee on bus and truck has been fixed at Rs 400.
