Himachal: 7 IAS officers given portfolios, one given posting
Shimla, August 20: Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh has transferred 3 IAS officers. Apart from this, additional responsibilities have been assigned to three senior IAS officers. One IAS officer has been given posting. A notification regarding this was issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena on Tuesday.
According to this, senior IAS KK Pant, who was handling the charge of Additional Chief Secretary Forest on his return from central deputation, has been given the additional charge of Financial Commissioner (Appeal). Earlier, this charge was with IAS RD Nazeem. Abhishek Jain has been appointed Secretary Digital Technologies, Governance and PWD and Secretary Finance, Planning, Economics and Statistics and Twenty Point Programme (TPP). Secretary Health and Family Welfare Sudha Devi has been given the additional charge of Secretary Personnel.
Priyanka Basu Ingty, who was awaiting appointment, has been appointed Secretary Labor and Employment, Printing and Stationery, Fisheries and Youth Services and Sports. Rakesh Kanwar, who is handling the charge of Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given additional charge of Secretary MPP and Power and NCES. Rajesh Sharma has been transferred from the post of Secretary to the Governor and appointed as Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. He will also have additional charge of Secretary Lokayukta and Secretary Human Rights Commissioner. Director Revenue Records Chandra Prakash Verma has been appointed as Secretary to the Governor.
