Shimla, 04 August: On the 118th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Late Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu paid tribute by offering flowers to his statue at the historic Ridge Ground. Apart from this, a program was also organized on his birth anniversary in the library of the Assembly.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, other members of the cabinet, former members and dignitaries were present in the program. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that realizing the dreams of Himachal maker Yashwant Singh Parmar is the priority of the state government, for which the government is working. To make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant by 2027, the government is going to take some tough decisions, in which the cooperation of the public will also be needed.
At the same time, the Chief Minister said that the empanelment of Him Care Yojana in private hospitals has been stopped, the benefits of the scheme will continue to be available in government hospitals. The scheme was implemented without any thought during the time of the previous BJP government and now irregularities have come to light. Some improvements have been made in it so that eligible people can get its benefits.
At the same time, the recent disaster in the state has caused a loss of Rs 700 crore and more than 50 people are still missing.
