G20 Varanasi Summit 2023 : Development Ministers of G20 countries will be in Kashi on 11, 12 and 13 June. More than 250 foreign guests are to come. So preparations are being finalized. Preparations are on for a grand and divine welcome of the guests.
The guests of G-20 countries will also visit Sarnath, the place of first sermon of Lord Buddha. Special light and sound show has been arranged in Sarnath. Along with Hindi and English, life philosophy of Buddha will be shown in Thai language. Its blueprint has been prepared by the tourism department.

The show is shown daily from 7:10 pm through projectors at Dhamekh Stupa in the Archaeological Museum complex of Sarnath.
Proposal sent to make bad beam projector
The Tourism Department has sent a proposal to the Directorate of Tourism to get the defective light (beam) of the projector used in the light and sound show. According to Deputy Director Tourism RK Rawat, after getting permission from the directorate, the faulty equipment of the projector will be repaired by the first week of June.
