G20 Summit 2023 Uttarakhand: About 64 delegates from several countries reached Jollygrant Airport on Wednesday to attend the meeting of the Anti-Corruption Working Group.
All 64 delegates have reached Narendranagar to attend the G-20 summit. On reaching the hotel here, the foreign guests were given a grand welcome by giving Akshat, Tilak and rose flowers. The meeting of the Anti-Corruption Working Group will start on Thursday after all the G-20 members reach the hotel.
The delegates were overjoyed to be welcomed in a traditional manner. Meanwhile, the weather became quite pleasant due to light drizzle. The guests enjoyed the beautiful valleys of the mountain by seeing the magnificent view of Narendranagar, Tapovan, Munikireti, Rishikesh from the hotel.
On Wednesday late evening, all the delegates went to Parmarth Niketan to attend the Ganga Aarti. On Thursday, the second meeting of the Anti-Corruption Working Group will be held at the Westin Hotel, in which corruption-free world will be discussed. On Thursday, a gala dinner has been organized to welcome the guests at the Westin Hotel, in which all cabinet ministers, MPs and MLAs including Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will attend. It was told that specially Pahari dishes will also be served in the gala dinner.
Delegates from these countries arrived
It was told by the district administration that for the summit, participants from Russia, France, Japan, Germany, Canada, Italy, England, European Union, United States of America, China, Indonesia, Australia, Argentina, South Korea, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico have been invited. The delegates have reached here.
