Army is ready after terrorist activities
Significantly, even before the G-20 conference in the valley, terrorists have started spreading terror in the valley. In April, army personnel were targeted by terrorists in the Poonch area. Five soldiers were killed in this IED attack. After this, terrorists attacked the army in Rajouri area in May. In this attack also five army soldiers were sacrificed. Since then, the army has been taking extensive action in Jammu and Kashmir.
An elaborate search operation was carried out by the army and security forces in the forested and interior areas. Along with this, the army is also busting terrorist hideouts.
Deployment of army from interior areas including Rajouri-Poonch
At the same time, in the midst of the process of restoring peace in Jammu and Kashmir, the central government does not want to give any chance to the terrorists to raise their heads. Therefore, the plan to reduce the deployment of army from the interior areas of Jammu and Kashmir including Rajouri-Poonch has been postponed for the time being. This decision has been taken in view of the increase in terrorist attacks in the past.
