The police personnel are being trained to understand the tactics and strategies used in invisible policing and will be deputed to different locations at different locations after completing the two-week training course. A senior police officer of PCR Kashmir said most of them would perform their duties in civil to ensure comfort for the delegates.
Besides trained police personnel, special teams of security forces will monitor the venue through CCTV cameras, drones and other equipment. Police will also use facial recognition software and data analysis tools to keep an eye on public places.

The third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting will be held in Srinagar from May 22-24 and preparations are underway to make the mega event a success in the Valley. The Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Center on Dal Lake will be the primary venue for hosting the G20 meetings.
During the three-day event, discussions will take place in Srinagar, and foreign delegates will have an opportunity for sightseeing at Baramulla, Dachigam National Park and the ski resort of Gulmarg.
On 15 April, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the security situation and preparations for the G-20 meeting to be held in Srinagar. He urged all the agencies to work in a coordinated manner for the success of the event.
The G20 forum represents about 85% of global GDP, with Saudi Arabia, Germany, Canada and France as members, and India, China, Indonesia and the US as its members.
