Finally 2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift Fully Leaked
The soon-to-be-launched Nissan Magnite facelift will rival the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Renault Kiger. After launching its X-Trail premium SUV, Nissan is preparing to launch the Magnite facelift with meaningful upgrades to refresh it for the festive season. Ahead of the launch on October 4, the Nissan Magnite facelift design has been fully revealed from what looks like a dealer yard. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
Nissan Magnite Facelift Design
In an interesting turn of events, the Nissan Magnite facelift design has been fully revealed ahead of the launch. It looks like units have arrived at showrooms and have been photographed ahead of the launch on October 4. As expected, all this is a small update of Nissan’s move into the sub-4 metre SUV segment.
Up front, we get to see an updated fascia, a redesigned bumper with a large silver element that mimics a bull bar.
Nissan has added black finish trim around the chrome element around the grille. From the looks of it, the Nissan Magnite seems to have kept its grille size the same as before, but it features a new pattern. The headlights look similar to the pre-facelift model, which is probably not a bad thing as it gets LED projectors with LED turn indicators.
The boomerang-shaped LED DRLs also look similar to the pre-facelift model. On the sides, we get new alloy wheels and that’s it. At the rear, the bumper looks like it has been slightly redesigned. However, the main changes are the LED tail lights with a clear casing. The brake lights seem to be LED this time around. This particular unit spied had a gold or brown exterior shade, which could be the launch colour of the Magnite facelift. On the inside, we can see that Nissan has added a dash of playfulness with the Magnite facelift. We can see it with an orange and black interior theme.
What are the interior updates?
Apart from the colour theme, there doesn’t seem to be any new updates inside. At least, that is what Nissan’s recent teasers and these new spy shots suggest. We can see a Lamborghini-inspired dashboard layout with a three-spoke steering, which now has black elements for added sportiness.
Features like auto climate control, rear AC vents, front and rear armrests, cruise control, push-button start, keyless entry, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will remain the same as before. We expect Nissan to add other features like auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated seats, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and 360-camera.
The powertrains will remain the same as before. This means the 1.0L 3-cylinder engine will be offered in either a naturally aspirated state or a turbocharged state. The NA petrol has 71 bhp and 96 Nm and is paired to a 5-speed manual or an AMT. While the turbo petrol engine puts out 99 bhp and 160 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
