Environment Protection : Campaign launched to free Nahan from plastic waste

While the government is making efforts at its level regarding environmental protection, people are also joining this campaign.

The women of the innerwheel club in Nahan have started a campaign to free the city from plastic waste. Under this, women are not only making all the shopkeepers aware but also giving them paper envelopes free of cost.

The women of the club say that with the theme of removing plastic and saving lives, they have become a part of this campaign so that Nahan city can be made plastic free.

Talking to Diary Times, the women of the club said that today we have taken up a campaign in Bade Chowk to remove plastic and save lives.

We have a small club in which fifty of our women are working in it and today we have tried our best to give this message to everyone in the whole market that we should not use plastic.

Today we are distributing paper cards from Inner Wheel Club to all vendors, small vendors. This is our main motive only that how do we save the environment? Spread its awareness, because we are seeing that a lot of environment destroying things are being made in Nahan.

So we all have started this campaign to tell everyone that plastic is very harmful for our health. So today we have tried to stop plastic.
