Chamba district runner Seema once again brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh

Runner Seema of Chamba district has once again brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh including Chamba district. He has won the gold medal in the 62nd National Senior Athletics Championship held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha by completing the ten thousand meter race in thirty-four minutes and twenty seconds.

Apart from this, he has won a silver medal by completing the five thousand meter race in sixteen minutes and eleven seconds. This championship was held in Bhubaneswar from June 15 to 19. Seema is busy preparing for the Asian Games these days.

And she wants to bring laurels to the country and state by winning gold medal in these games.

Talking to Diary Times, Seema said – Recently, in the national senior athletics championship held at Bhubaneswar from 15 to 19, I won two medals, in which I won gold in 10,000 meters and silver in 5,000 meters.

Right now she is busy preparing for the Asian Games to be held this year and I will try to improve my timing in the coming games.
