One person has died after being run over by a truck near Seu on Shimla-Mataur National Highway under Ghumarwin police station of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Entire accident happened on Monday morning at around 9:00 am. Deceased has been identified as Ramesh Chand, 60 years old, resident of village Naswal tehsil Ghumarwin.

According to complete information received from Ghumarwin police station in-charge, Ramesh Chand of Naswal village used to buy scrap. At around 9:00 in the morning, he was going towards Seu to buy scrap.

Then suddenly a truck went out of control on the side of the road. Ramesh was hit by the truck.

Immediately after the accident, local people including family members reached the spot.

Local people have informed Ghumarwin police about the accident.

Truck driver told that he was going towards Bhota after loading cement in truck. Suddenly truck went out of control.

On the other hand, DSP Ghumarwin Chandrapal Singh told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that Ghumarwin police reached spot and started investigation. A case has been registered against the truck driver and action is being taken.
