Shimla, 02 September:Â Students of Auckland School Shimla visited the Assembly today and learnt about the parliamentary system. Students of Auckland School Shimla who came to see the proceedings of the Assembly met the Speaker of the Assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania before seeing the proceedings of the House.
On this occasion Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the youth play an important role in strengthening democracy and the parliamentary system. He said that India is a country of youth and our country has the highest number of youth in the world today. Youth are the future of this country and their contribution is necessary in making this nation a prosperous and developed nation. He said that today the country is facing many challenges for which the youth of the country will have to come forward.
Children asked many questions to the Speaker of the Assembly
Speaker of the Assembly Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that India is the largest democracy in the world and the way youth are coming to see the proceedings of the House today and young MPs are taking interest in the competitions, is actually the key to strengthening our democratic system. The students who came to watch the proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha asked many questions to the Vidhan Sabha Speaker with great curiosity, which the Vidhan Sabha Speaker answered sequentially.
The Vidhan Sabha Speaker also informed the children about the proceedings to be held inside the House today and also gave them information about the history of the Council Chamber of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. On this occasion, the Vidhan Sabha Speaker wished all the students on his behalf and wished them a happy and prosperous life.
