Election Department: More Than 55 Lakh Voters Registered In Himachal, 104882 New Ones Registered.

A total of 55,56,001 voters have been registered in the photo voter lists across Himachal Pradesh. There are 28,07,387 male voters and 27,48,578 female voters as well as 36 third gender voters in Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, a total of 25 migrant voters are also included in Himachal Pradesh. Names of forty-eight thousand one hundred and eighty-three new voters in the age group of eighteen to nineteen have been registered in the voter lists. In Himachal Pradesh, the maximum number of one lakh four thousand six hundred and twelve voters are from Sullah assembly constituency and the least number of voters is twenty five thousand forty three from Lahaul-Spiti assembly constituency.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that as per the schedule approved by the Election Commission of India, the work of special summary revision of all photo voter lists has been completed on January 1, 2024. Earlier, names of 54 lakh 97 thousand 216 voters were registered in Himachal Pradesh.
One lakh four thousand eight hundred and eighty two new voters have been registered during the revision program in Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, names of forty six thousand ninety seven additional voters of Himachal Pradesh have been removed from voter lists due to death, change of place as well as double registration etc.
The voter list published in Himachal Pradesh is available for inspection in the offices of the District Election Office, Electoral Registration Officer (ADM and SDM), Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar) and at every polling station or with booth level officers.
Apart from this, voter lists in Himachal Pradesh have also been made available to the voters on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Election Department http://ceohimachal.nic.in and voter portal.
