Dev Bhoomi International Film Festival to Bring 25 Short Films and Bollywood Stars to Mandi
Mandi, the picturesque hill town of Himachal Pradesh famously known as “Chhoti Kashi,” is all set to turn into a vibrant hub of cinema, creativity, and culture as the second edition of the Dev Bhoomi International Film Festival (DBIFF) begins from July 3 to July 5 at Sanskriti Sadan.

The three-day international film festival will celebrate the art of storytelling by bringing together filmmakers, actors, artists, and cinema lovers from different parts of India. A major highlight of this year’s festival will be the screening of 25 carefully selected short films, including several productions created by talented filmmakers from Himachal Pradesh.
Speaking to the media, festival organiser and renowned film director Pawan Sharma said that DBIFF aims to provide a meaningful platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their creative work and connect with audiences.
The festival is also expected to attract several well-known faces from the Indian film industry. Popular actors including Aditya Srivastava, Yashpal Sharma, Rajesh Jais, Sanjay Mishra, and Hemant Pandey are likely to participate in the event, adding more excitement for cinema enthusiasts and aspiring artists.
Beyond film screenings, DBIFF 2026 will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore the world of cinema through master classes, interactive sessions, and appreciation courses focused on filmmaking, acting, and screenplay writing. These sessions are designed to help young artists understand the creative and technical aspects of making films.
Festival activities will be conducted daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, and delegate passes will be made available for participants. According to the organisers, every visitor will be welcomed not just as an audience member but as an important part of the festival’s cultural journey.
A special cultural programme will also be held at Mandi’s historic Clock Tower Complex, adding a local heritage touch to the celebrations.
With its blend of regional talent, national cinema personalities, and learning opportunities, the Dev Bhoomi International Film Festival 2026 is expected to strengthen Mandi’s identity as a growing destination for art, culture, and independent filmmaking.
