Stellantis to Recall Over 123,000 Vehicles in U.S. Over Trim Detachment Risk

Stellantis (STLAM.MI) is recalling 123,396 vehicles in the United States due to the risk that window trim pieces could detach, creating road hazards and raising the risk of crashes, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Saturday.

According to the regulator, the driver and passenger-side quarter window trim may not have been properly secured and could separate while the vehicle is in motion.

The recall affects certain 2022–2024 Chrysler Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer models. NHTSA said the automaker is still developing a remedy for the issue.

Earlier this month, Stellantis also recalled about 164,000 vehicles in the U.S. over a similar risk of window trim detachment.
