Germany Probes Drone Sightings in Schleswig-Holstein Over Espionage Concerns

The German state of Schleswig-Holstein is investigating nighttime drone sightings amid concerns of possible espionage or sabotage, the state’s Interior Ministry said on Friday.

“Given recent incidents in Denmark and other European countries, Schleswig-Holstein is in constant and intensive consultation with the federal government and the German armed forces,” Interior Minister Sabine Sütterlin-Waack said in an emailed statement.
