Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has invited global investors to explore opportunities in Himachal Pradesh across sectors such as clean energy, responsible tourism, horticulture, IT, and healthcare.

He delivered the keynote address at the Indo-European Business Forum Summit held at the House of Lords in London. Highlighting the state’s 100% literacy rate, strong foundations of trust and resilience, Sukhu emphasized that Himachal Pradesh is an attractive destination for investment.

Addressing European investors, he encouraged exploration of opportunities in healthcare, organic products, and sustainable lifestyle initiatives. He underscored that Himachal has consistently been among India’s top-performing states, particularly in social sectors, and is evolving not just as a year-round tourist destination but also as a hub for global business opportunities. The state government is committed to building a self-reliant Himachal through its ‘Governance-led Transformation for Self-Reliant Himachal’ initiative—a vision shared with its people that guides every governmental endeavor.

Sukhu highlighted the state’s forward-looking policies aimed at advancing clean and green energy, responsible tourism, horticulture, information technology, data storage, and food processing. He noted that Himachal has already played a pioneering role in hydropower and renewable energy, offering strong potential for synergy between European expertise and Indian ambitions.

He added, “Himachal apples have earned a trusted global brand recognition, and the state is now expanding into organic vegetables, floriculture, and other high-value crops ready for international markets.” He further emphasized that government focus on natural farming and dairy-based initiatives has opened new avenues for innovation and collaboration.

Sukhu extended a personal invitation to European investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators to visit Himachal Pradesh, assuring them that they will not only discover business opportunities but also forge partnerships based on trust, stability, and shared values.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister was honored with the Leadership and Governance Award for his visionary and transformative governance in Himachal Pradesh.

The summit was attended by IEBF founder Vijay Goyal, Lord David Evans, Ministers Kanishk Narayan and Seema Malhotra, Virendra Sharma, Samuel Mahama from Ghana, and Dr. Rohitga, former Foreign Minister and High Commissioner of Sri Lanka.
