Stellantis to Recall Nearly 164,000 Vehicles in U.S. Over Door Trim Detachment Risk

Stellantis (STLAM.MI) is set to recall nearly 164,000 Jeep vehicles in the United States due to a potential risk of door trim pieces detaching, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported on Wednesday.
According to the auto safety regulator, the recall covers certain Chrysler Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer models manufactured between 2022 and 2025. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the door trim on both driver and passenger doors free of charge.
Earlier in September, NHTSA announced that Stellantis was recalling approximately 92,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles in the U.S. due to a software glitch in the hybrid control processor, which could lead to a loss of drive power.
Last week, the agency also opened an investigation into around 287,000 Chrysler Pacifica minivans from the 2017–2018 model years, citing potential issues with the electric power steering system.
