Death Toll Rises to 51 in Anti-Corruption Protests in Nepal

The death toll in this week’s anti-corruption protests in Nepal has risen to 51, a police spokesperson said on Friday.

Spokesperson Binod Ghimire reported that the casualties include 21 protesters, nine prisoners, three police officers, and 18 others.
