The Swiss government announced on Thursday that President Karin Keller-Sutter and Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held talks in Bern focused on advancing the peace process and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine.
As part of the discussions, the two countries unveiled 12 projects in areas such as infrastructure, public transport, healthcare, and humanitarian demining. These initiatives will be led by Swiss companies and supported by the Swiss government.
Among the participating firms are Geberit, which will provide sanitation facilities; DYWARIO, which will construct prefabricated housing; and Roche Diagnostics, which will establish a medical laboratory.
To support these efforts, the Swiss government is committing roughly 100 million Swiss francs ($124.7 million) in funding.
