French Finance Minister: No Risk of Financial Crisis

French Finance Minister Éric Lombard said on Thursday that he sees no risk of a financial crisis, even as the government prepares for a confidence vote next month. He emphasized that France faces no difficulties in financing its economy.

Speaking at a gathering of the MEDEF business lobby, Lombard added that the country remains on track to meet its public deficit target for 2025.
