Shimla, May 16:
A delegation from the Himachal Pradesh Gram Rojgar Sevak Sangh (G.R.S.S.) met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today and apprised him of their key concerns.
The delegation informed the Chief Minister that the Central Government has halved the budget allocation for Himachal Pradesh, resulting in irregular salary disbursements for them. They urged the Chief Minister to raise the issue with the Centre.
The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the state government would consider their demands sympathetically and explore the possibility of creating a revolving fund to address their concerns. He emphasized that the state government remains sensitive to the challenges faced by its employees and is committed to taking appropriate steps to resolve them.
