Two-Minute Silence Observed in Memory of Victims of Pahalgam Terror Attack

Shimla, April 25: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the people of Himachal Pradesh paid heartfelt tribute to those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir on April 22.

A two-minute silence was observed at the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat in memory of the victims. The Chief Minister stated that all government offices, including the State Secretariat and district deputy commissioner offices, were observing this silence to honour the memory of those killed in the cowardly attack.

Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, he said, “The entire nation stands united with them in this time of grief.”

Present on the occasion were Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Board Bhawani Singh Pathania, Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, MLA Anuradha Rana, Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, OSD to the Chief Minister Gopal Sharma, and several officers and staff members of the Secretariat.
