A woman from Mandi was called to Shimla and raped, case registered
The victim is a native of Mandi district. The accused also belongs to the same district and works in Shimla. He is living in a rented room in Shimla city. It is alleged that the youth called the victim from Mandi to Shimla on the pretext of marriage and took her to his room and raped her.
Shimla, September 14: A case of rape of a woman from Mandi by luring her to Shimla on the pretext of marriage has come to light. The accused youth was sexually exploiting the victim on the pretext of marriage for a long time. But when he refused to marry her, the victim complained to the police. The accused is also accused of threatening the victim. A case has been registered against the accused youth in the women’s police station of Shimla under sections of rape and intimidation.

According to the complaint given by the victim, after this the behavior of the accused started changing towards her and he refused to marry her. The accused also threatened to kill the victim.
The women police have registered an FIR against the accused Shashikant under sections 376 (2), 417 and 506 of the IPC. Further action is being taken.
