Una, 6 September: A 19-year-old girl from Rajpura under Police Station Bangana died after swallowing poisonous substance. The deceased girl has been identified as Arpana Kumari daughter of Satish Kumar resident of Rajpura, Bangana.
According to the information, Arpana accidentally consumed some poisonous substance yesterday. After which the girl was brought to the Regional Hospital Una by the family, where the doctors declared her dead. The police has handed over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem. At the same time, the investigation of the case has started.
DSP Headquarters Ajay Thakur said that the police has handed over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem and the cause of death will be known after the RFSL report comes.
