The incident of firing has come to light in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. A 14-year-old student has fired at students and security guards in a school. Quoting the report of the local news agency Tanjug, the BBC said that at least 9 people have died in the firing. The dead include 8 children. Police said that a student of class VII has been arrested.

Serbia’s interior ministry said a 14-year-old boy shot his teacher in a classroom in Belgrade on Wednesday morning before opening fire on other students and security guards. According to the report, the incident is of Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School. Milan Milosevic, the father of a student here, said that his daughter was in the class where the gun was fired.

Milosevic told- “She managed to escape. The boy first shot the teacher and then started firing indiscriminately.” Milosevic said, “I saw the security guard lying under the table. I saw two girls with blood on their shirts.”

According to the statement, police received a call about shots fired at the Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School at around 8:40 am. The suspected teenager is a Class VII student and has been arrested. The statement said the suspect fired several shots from his father’s gun at other students and the school guard.

According to reports in Serbian media, the school guard was killed in the shootout. At present, the police have not given any additional information regarding this incident. Footage aired on local media channels showed a crowd of worried parents outside the school.

Please tell that Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School is a well-known school in central Belgrade. Police sealed the area around this school after the firing incident. In Serbia, children attend primary schools up to grade eight.
