Education Minister Rohit Thakur has announced to fill 12 thousand vacant posts in the Education Department in a phased manner.
While inaugurating the building built at a cost of about Rs 4 crore at Vikram Batra Government College in Palampur assembly constituency, he said that better education infrastructure has been established in the state and the government will bring a proposal in the cabinet for the NTT recruitment process.
He also laid the foundation stone of the science laboratory building in Rajpur Secondary School to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore twenty-six lakh.
He said that the government has merged 450 schools without students into 100 schools so that work can be availed from the teachers posted in these schools.
We have 12000 vacant posts, the number of which I have given you is around twelve thousand, we will fill these posts in a phased manner through promotion, by Batchwise and direct Recruitment.
In higher education itself, about eighty principles out of hundred and five have been promoted by government and have been appointed in our remote colleges.
Apart from this, there were more than a thousand vacancies for your assistant professors, out of which about five hundred and fifty have been selected.
I think this process has been completed through interviews and out of these five hundred and fifty four hundred have been given to the professors.
We will also give them appointments in the colleges established in your inaccessible areas.
In your higher education, about five hundred and eighty five of your PGTs, we have given them this post through your commission.
This process will be started by advertising this also soon. Before this, we have From TGT to PGT, around four hundred of your posts have been filled.
In elementary education too, around five thousand three hundred of your posts have been sanctioned, out of which 2521 whether it is of TGT, JBT or CNB, it is understood in every district of Himachal.
12000 Vacant Posts appointment will be processed batch wise considering the vacancies.
